Public Transportation in the Twin Cities

There are a number of different public transportation options in the Twin Cities.  Here are some of the options:

  • If you are not sure of what route to take, click here and you will be taken to the Metro Transit online Route Planner.
  • If you already know your route number and just want to check the schedule, click here and you will be taken to the Metro Transit online site where you can easily check the schedule of one or more bus routes.

  • TransitLine (for 24-hour automated departure times for any route): (612) 341-4287

PLEASE NOTE:  You may be eligibly to use Metro Mobility if you meet certain criteria as determined by the American's With Disability Act.  Please call Metro Mobility's Customer Service line at (651) 602-1111 to have a form sent to you or click here to download the first form and then here to download the second form.  Both forms must be completed and submitted to Metro Mobility
